Jessica, I finished the flat iron case for you today! I will try to make it to the post office tomorrow.
I loved this quick gift! The tutorial for this post can be found at http://www.crapivemade.com/ It was easy to make but I wanted to point out a few things. It is thick! I used ribbon to bind it because I wanted a bigger area that was more substantial for me to sew on. I am a beginning sewer so it was easier than the bias tape for me. It was not clear to me after you sew the flap on that when you turn it open that you line up the edges so there will be a open bump in the pocket to hold the iron. Duhh I know anyone with sewing sense would know this but again... beginner here. It was a fast easy project and I have three more waiting to be put together. I need to get some more ribbon. Looks like I will head to the ribbon retreat and place an order because follower number 10 is right around the corner.
I wanted to add that I love my tidy tray and other tidy craft items that my sponsor provided to me. You can see them in the photo. The tray, the bobbin organizer and the clear round shuttle cups with attached lids that I use for pins.
