I spent the morning in Joann's Crafts and Fabrics and found some cute glitter letters that match my daughters room colors. The good and bad was that they were on clearance for .97 cents each, which meant not all the letters could be found. My daughter spells her name Charise, pronounced Char-eece it is french for cherry. She recently made the cheer team and so I went with a play on words and surprised her with this:
She has been begging to put something on her walls. We moved in almost a year ago and I have been working room to room and finally have started on hers. She got new bedding you can see a bit in the photo and now we're working on the walls. I did a great photo frame jewelry holder set for her to put up. We are just waiting for it to dry.
Anyhow, if you have a Joann's near you and you like these letters you can pick them up on the cheap! They come with stickers on the back to put them up but we found they were not strong enough. I used the scrapbook double sided sticky squares on them to reenforce the stickability (is that a word?) and they are staying just fine now.
I will post the jewelry holders and other decor as we get her room together. I would love any ideas and feedback.
