I have been looking for dehydrated soup recipes for ages. I have also wanted to know where I could purchase bulk dehydrated sliced potatoes. Now I will just make my own potatoes and copy the recipes from this site.
I am constantly figuring out what to make so I can use up the spinach or mushrooms and other veggies before they spoil. With this storage method I can dehydrate then use these items at my convenience. I am so excited about this because the shelf life for some items is up to 30 years! Frozen veggies on sale and not enough freezer space... buy them and dehydrate them!

I am now on the hunt for an apple peeler and a meat slicer. I will let the girls know at my local salvation army that I am looking for one. They are good about letting me know if they get something I am looking for. I am a regular shopper on Tuesdays when military gets 15% off in our local store.
