It has been months, almost a year since I posted. A lot has happened. We moved to Washington State last year and we are now approaching our second Christmas here. I found a great homeschool group and we have been moving along at a nice slow pace. It seems to just fit for now. The last two years were hustle hustle but now were settled in to homeschooling and enjoying each day in our life. Here are some of the highlights from the past year. They are not in chronological order.
We held Science Camp for 3 days at our house this summer. (2012) The police and fire dept. were called because the neighbor was concerned about the rocket we were launching that went 400+ feet into the air. We lost only 2-3 and were able to recover the rest. The fire department made the best of the call and let the kids tour the truck for about 30 minutes. It was a great addition to our day! The rockets were electric start and did not pose any risk.
Duris Cucumber Farm
Noah turns 8. We have a party with our homeschool friends. We had make your own pizzas and make your own ice cream sundae. The kids loved it.
